The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is the UK equivalent to OSHA and it mandates that all companies must make adequate provision for first aid.
For very small companies this may just be provision of a first aid kit and a nominated person to maintain that kit. For companies of 5-25 people that may involve a one day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course. For larger companies or those in more high risk areas this may involve a 3 day First Aid at Work course (FAW).

In order to offer HSE EFAW or HSE FAW courses a training provider must be able to show that they meet HSE criteria otherwise no company would employ them to provide first aid training. The great news is that FRTI courses and instructors meet the criteria therefore we are pleased to announce the following courses for the UK market.
