As one of the first agencies to provide training in mixed gas diving and rebreathers, TDI is an innovator of new diving techniques and programs which previously were not available to the general public.
TDI is the largest technical certification agency in the world. TDI professionals are held to the highest standard to ensure quality training throughout the world. This means that as a diver taking a TDI course, your instructor will have documented his experience and knowledge prior to achieving that rating.

TDI is committed to offering the highest quality training supported by the latest materials with the most up to date information and techniques. TDI materials are written by authors that acutely conduct the type of diving they are writing about. Those same materials are updated as technology and equipment change.

WHY NOT TAKE
A COMBINED COURSE?
Fast-track your technical diving career - why not combine this course with the Advanced Nitrox Diver course? Contact us for pricing today!
COURSE SCHEDULE
Technically a recreational course, the Intro to Tech course introduces students to the world of technical diving.

The TDI Intro to Tech Course is an introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment.

The objective of this course is to familiarise you with a twinset and enhance your open water diving skills (such as buoyancy, trim, and situational awareness), and to introduce you to advanced gas planning techniques within a no-decompression context. The course is also ideal for anyone who wants to work on their basic skills as these are useful in all forms of diving.

COURSE INFO
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 15 years old and be an SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 25 logged dives
Duration:
  • 2 Days
Includes:
  • Learning materials (either eLearning or Intro to Tech manual) and a Certification Card

NITROX DIVER
Take advantage of increased bottom times...
Nitrox Diver is one of the most popular courses as Nitrox allows you to increase your no decompression dive time.

This half day course doesn't even require you to get wet and it's also available online, so you can complete the theory in your own time followed by a few practical exercises to finish your education.

The course covers the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving with Nitrox as well as equipment considerations, the correct technique of cylinder labeling and analysing Nitrox. On completion you will be certified to use Nitrox mixes between 22 - 40 %.
COURSE INFO
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 15 years old and be an SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
Duration:
  • 0.5 Days
Includes:
  • Learning materials (either eLearning or Nitrox Diver manual) and a Certification Card

WHY NOT TAKE
A COMBINED COURSE?
Why not combine this course with the TDI Decompression Procedures course? Or to reduce your risk of narcosis, why not combine this course with the TDI Helitrox course?
COURSE SCHEDULE
The Advanced Nitrox Diver course covers all the topics of the Nitrox Diver course in greater detail, with in-depth coverage of CNS and whole body oxygen toxicity and tracking, common blending methods, dive planning and gas consumption calculations.

In addition you will also conduct 4 Nitrox dives and on completion you will be certified to use Nitrox mixes from 22-100% as a breathing gas for dives that do not require staged decompression.

Often taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course, this can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career. TDI Advanced Nitrox is also a must for SCR or CCR divers.
COURSE INFO
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 15 years old, be an SDI or TDI Nitrox Diver (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 25 logged dives
Duration:
  • 2-3 Days
Includes:
  • Learning materials (either eLearning or Advanced Nitrox Diver manual) and a Certification Card
Cost:
  • £250.00

DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURES DIVER
Go beyond recreational bottom time limits...
The Decompression Procedures Diver course is the first course that prepares you for planned staged decompression diving.

With 4 dives to a maximum operating depth (MOD) of 45m this course teaches you knowledge and skills such as equipment set-up, decompression techniques and breathing gasses, gas management, contingency planning and problem solving procedures.

For divers who already hold the Decompression Procedures Diver rating, we also offer a convenient 1-day upgrade to the new TDI Helitrox course which introduces the use of helium-based bottom mixes.
COURSE INFO
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 18 years old, be an SDI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 25 logged dives
Duration:
  • 2 Days
Includes:
  • Learning materials (either eLearning or Decompression Procedures Diver manual) and a Certification Card
Cost:
  • £250.00

ALREADY DECO
PROCEDURES RATED?
For divers who already hold a TDI Decompression Procedures Diver rating, we offer a convenient 1-day upgrade which builds upon your knowledge and supplements it with the use of helium-based bottom mixes for just £150.
COURSE SCHEDULE
The TDI Helitrox Diver Course gives you the tools to carry out staged decompression dives utilising helium in the breathing mixture to reduce the effects of inert gas narcosis.

This course has all the benefits of the Decompression Procedures course (staged decompression, equipment set-up, decompression techniques and breathing gasses, gas management, contingency planning and problem solving procedures over 4 dives to a maximum operating depth (MOD of 45m) but allows the use of helium mixes up to a maximum of 20%. Making this course ideal for anyone who suffers from nitrogen narcosis.
COURSE INFO
Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 18 years old, be an SDI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) or TDI Intro-to-Tech, and have a minimum of 50 logged dives.
Duration:
  • 2-3 Days
Includes:
  • Learning materials (either eLearning or Decompression Procedures Diver manual) and a Certification Card. A Trimix Diver manual is available as an optional extra.
Cost:
  • £300.00
Further Information:
Advanced Nitrox &
Decompression Procedures Diver
This course combines the Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompression Procedures Diver courses but is more efficient as it only requires 6 open water dives instead of 8.

Upon completion you will be certified to use Nitrox mixes from 22 - 100% requiring staged decompression to a maximum operating depth (MOD) of 45 metres. For divers wishing to maximise their inwater safety and dive time, this combined course is a great option.

The TDI Decompression Procedures Course combined with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course form the foundation of all other technical courses. After these two courses and some additional experience, the stage has been set for you to move onto additional technical levels.
